The Mystery of the Disappearing Hotel
In 1905 the nation was shocked at the mysterious disappearance of Hotel ReNault. Best known for its lavish parties, Hotel ReNault allured only the best and brightest of the Greater Central Florida Area. This mystifying and horrific disappearance occurred on the Saturday before Halloween, in 1906. Not only did the hotel disappear but all of the employees and elite party goers vanished without a trace. Time passed and the tragedy of Hotel ReNault was forgotten.
Over a century later, the haunted ground was disturbed in order to build a new hotel for the modern socialites of Central Florida. The rich and mysterious history of Hotel ReNault was a perfect background for throwing a huge Halloween party. Little did the owners of Aloft know they would have a sinister, uninvited presence in the hotel.
As the doors opened for the party and guests began to fill the room, the lights ominously flickered and the walls rattled with immense power. Suddenly, the tortured spirits of Hotel ReNault’s last fateful night emerged from the depths and joined the living. This merging of past and present, spiritual and physical became known as Haunted Hotel!
Due to the mass amounts of undead and living guests, a spiritual convergence was also performed at Aloft Orlando Downtown’s sister site Aloft Tampa Downtown. The haunts and thrills are just as intense and as exciting as the original site! For five chilling years, Aloft Orlando Downtown and Hotel ReNault have converged into the frightful Haunted Hotel. It combines a one-of-a-kind look, themed entertainment, and specialty craft cocktails. Overseeing all of the frights is your ghoulish host, Peter the Bellhop!
